Dream Side

Dream Side is a hotel-style apartment complex in the resort village of Chakvi, north of Batumi. The developer is Dreamside, a company specialising in resort investment property on the Georgian coast. The building was completed in early 2024, and the developer still has apartments for sale.

The complex stands on the first coastal line at 12–12a Batumi Street, about 50 metres from the beach. The Batumi Botanical Garden and Mtirala National Park are nearby, and the windows look out over the sea, the mountains and subtropical forest. The Batumi–Tbilisi highway is about 500 metres away, central Batumi is about 20 minutes by car and the international airport about 40 minutes.

It is a single 11-storey monolithic-frame building with 99 apartments, designed for seismic resistance of 8 points. The façade is finished with decorative tiles and wooden panels; every apartment has an open balcony with glass railings, and ceilings are 3 metres high. The building has passenger and freight lifts, a lobby with reception and concierge service, underground parking for 20 cars and guest parking.

On the grounds there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, a summer terrace with a cocktail bar, a restaurant, a gym, an open-air cinema, a lounge area and a sports ground; the territory is under 24/7 video surveillance. A management company maintains the building and rents out the apartments.

The developer is selling a 36 m² studio for $46,800; apartments are offered in white frame or with a turnkey designer renovation. A developer instalment plan with a 30% down payment for up to 6 months is available, as is a TBC Bank mortgage. The format suits seaside holidays as well as letting through the management company.
