City Center — Real Estate in Batumi

Central Batumi means the blocks around 6 May Park and Gorgasali, Abuseridze, Vazha-Pshavela, Melikishvili and Asatiani streets. From here you can walk to the Seaside Boulevard, the Old Town, the sea port, the Dancing Fountains and the lower station of the Argo cable car.

The sea is 500 to 1,500 metres away: from buildings on Abuseridze and Gorgasali the beach is 5 to 10 minutes on foot, from the blocks near Melikishvili 15 to 20. 6 May Park with Nurigeli Lake, the dolphinarium, the aquarium and the summer cinema is a few minutes from most complexes. Shops, cafés, banks, pharmacies, clinics and schools are on the neighbouring streets, bus and minibus stops 100 to 200 metres away, and the airport 10 to 20 minutes by car.

The centre suits those who want to live in the city without a car: everything is at hand all year round and the seafront is close. Apartments here are bought both to live in and to rent out, as tourists value being able to walk to the boulevard and the old streets. The trade-off is city noise and dense development. Almost all complexes in the district are under construction, and there are few completed buildings.
