Bagrationi — Real Estate in Batumi

Bagrationi is a residential district in central Batumi, east of the New Boulevard and the old town. It stretches along Petre Bagrationi, Vazha-Pshavela, Chavchavadze, Pushkin and Griboedov streets. This is the city rather than a resort seafront: dense housing, offices, shops, schools and kindergartens.

The sea is 750 to 1,500 metres away, a 10 to 20 minute walk. In return you get 6 May Park with Nurigeli Lake, the dolphinarium and the zoo, Ardagani Lake, the Argo cable car, Batumi Plaza shopping centre, large supermarkets, the Republican Hospital, the Dinamo Batumi stadium and Batumi International University close by. Bus and minibus stops are a couple of minutes from most buildings, and the airport is 7 to 15 minutes by car.

People choose Bagrationi to live in Batumi all year round: everyday needs are within walking distance, and in winter the district does not empty out like the resort blocks by the sea. Apartments here suit families and long-term rental; for short-term letting to tourists, the first line of the New Boulevard works better. Most complexes in the district are still under construction, with some completed buildings nearby.
