Petra Sea Resort

Petra Sea Resort is the flagship resort and residential project of Petra Group, one of Georgia's largest developers. The complex sits on the Black Sea seafront at the southern edge of Kobuleti near Tsikhisdziri, 15 km north of Batumi (about 20 minutes by car) and less than an hour's drive from Batumi International Airport. The buildings are about 100 metres from the sea. 70% of the site is given over to recreation areas and infrastructure.

The project covers more than 20 hectares with a projected total built area of 375,000 m². It comprises residential buildings with apartments (studios, 2- and 3-room units), premium villas and hotel residences under the Pullman (Accor) brand. Around 2,800 apartments are planned in total, and the tallest buildings have 29 storeys.

13 buildings are currently under construction, with phased completion: Blocks B, C, D-1…D-4 and K-1…K-6 — Q3 2027, Block A — Q4 2028.

Apartments are handed over in white frame: studios 26.7–99.6 m², 2-room units 42–176 m², 3-room units 68.6–96.1 m². The structure is a monolithic reinforced concrete frame. A developer instalment plan with a down payment from 30% and TBC Bank mortgages are available.

Resort facilities include a private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness and spa centres, restaurants and bars, a shopping gallery, conference halls, a kids' club, sports grounds and playgrounds, landscaped promenades, the artificial Lake Petra, a yacht club with a marina and a casino. Within 3 km of the complex are supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés, schools, a hospital and a stadium. The name «Petra» refers to the 6th-century Petra fortress in Tsikhisdziri, whose ruins can be seen from the complex.

Operational management of the resort has been entrusted to the international company Valor Hospitality Partners, which makes the project attractive to investors through a hotel-style income model.
